Detailed description of the Good Practice

There is increased awareness amongst politicians and citizens of the benefits of physical activity in spare time. There is evidence that more and more citizens do a lot of sports. The Environment and facilities support going for sports.

1. City-wide offers of health sport for older people
Analysis on offers and distribution of possibilities for physical activity for seniors
Cooperation with sports associations

2. Strategy to enhancing the cost-effective supply of sports in the spare time for pupils and adolescents
Cooperation with youth sport clubs and communal sport office

3. Building up running tracks for project “running for life”
Enhance the cooperation with responsible persons for sport facilities
