Detailed description of the Good Practice

NGO "We shall protect the future" concerns the problems of ecologically unsuitable housing accommodation in Novokuznetsk.
From the beginning of the 90-ties the part of the residents lives in ecologically unfit houses wall panels of which educe toxically harmful substances. The unfitness of this housing accommodation first was established by the sanitary inspection of Novokuznetsk and was forbidden for residing. It became obvious that the mass construction of houses unsuitable for residing is conducted in Novokuznetsk.
As a result of the work of our NGO "We shall protect the future and in accordance with the sulution of Zavodski district Court 93 families were removed to ecologically normal houses and about one hundred families were for bidden to live in ecologically unfit houses.

Our organisation gives consultation for residents and firms of the town which are engaged in exchange, sale and purchase of housing accommodation.
At present we are carrying out a juridical protection of 16 Families which live in ecologically harmful house in 95, Aviators Street.
NGO "We shall protect the future" established that there are 161 houses built of harmful building materials.
The aims of our work are: to help residents of toxic houses to remove to ecologically normal ones; to stop the construction of houses unsuitable for residing; to reveal houses, unsuitable for residing. We established contacts with Council of Europe and European Court of Human Rights.
The forms of in fluency on Public opinion through mass media are successfully used by NGO "We shall protect the future".
