Detailed description of the Good Practice

City of Malmö, city of Lund, Malmö University, Lund University and the Region of Skåne have together successfully applied for obtaining a status as an RCE - Regional Center of Expertise - in education of sustainable development. Under this umbrella organization a lot of activities are going on in the field of service education, workshops, exhibitions and so on.

Objectives of the Good Practice

The main objective is to raise the awareness in the region in questions related to sustainable development, primarily food production, sustainable city development, transportation and energy. There is no time frame set for the work.

Participants of the Good Practice

City of Malmö, city of Lund, Malmö University, Lund University and the Region of Skåne are together forming the RCE Skåne and are equally sharing the work load.

Target group of the Good Practice

The inhabitants of Skåne.

Funding of the Good Practice

It is equally funded by the partners.
