Detailed description of the Good Practice

A city programme “Development of physical culture in the city of Stavropol” is being implemented. For the first time this year within the framework of the municipal grants competition a public organization project “Fitness centre “Dolphin” was implemented.
New sport grounds are actively being constructed in the city. In 2007 sport facilities at school territories in 5 institutions of additional education were reconstructed as well as 18 sport grounds in the housing areas.
Only for last four years nearly 120 new sport grounds were set into functioning.

Objectives of the Good Practice

It was aimed at organization of physical health-improving activities for children and teenagers, who are registered in the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and their rights protection.
